    ReplyDelete
  23. Hey Lanea, sounds like you had a great day!!

Had a walk last night-1 hour w/ pup
Walk this morning 1.25 hours w/ pup
Yes, mostly I am trying to keep up w/ pup b/c she can go go go all day long and if she is a tired pup, she is a good pup. Like me, ha ha!!

Tomorrow is going to be a big workout for me b/c I am going to walk in the morning again w/ pup, but then in the afternoon I am going to do a circuit that is going to be tough. I got a new workout 'toy' in the mail yesterday and I can't wait to try it out!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. That is really super Jennifer. It sounds interesting what is it exactly? I started my first 5:30 am wakeup again, remember those days of the storm? Anyway, going to workout. That puppy sounds energetic I tell ya' Ha!! I will post after my first workout today, can't wait to post it because it's the best part of it ha!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Uh oh, the morning I studied some instead of working out. But, the great news is that after work today, I will take on my circuit! Who out there is doing the same? Anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi!
1 hour walk today and that was it! Today got away from me--too too busy!

My new workout 'toy' is an Ultimate Sandbag. You can do some very cool functional training w/ it! So excited to try it out tomorrow!!!

    Happy Valentine's Day!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Good morning Jennifer, good for you, so I haven't heard of that is it a sand bag like I am thinking. I saw you got really busy yesterday and didn't work out. No 12,000 steps for me or you ha. So I will be back today to post cant wait. Happy Valentines Day to you too?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yesterday-- 1hour walk w/ pup and 1 hour workout--interval training--super intense--got to use my new sandbag, yay!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I am working out tomorrow to stengthen my neck up again and then I will be back on track. So mad that it hurts lots of fish oil ha

    ReplyDelete
  31. You are right! She is a girl, actually, and her name is Maya!! Named after one of my favorite places to vacation--Riviera Maya!! All this walking and she is helping me get ready to go there again, ha ha!! It's pretty much always bikini weather there!!! That's probably too much pressure to put on a dog, ha!

    ReplyDelete
  32. how cute Riviera Maya!!! I remember now funny awsome and cool Jenn. Hope you have one of those ruffled bikini outfits for it, just kidding really but I have seen them for sure. I am hoping to do a circuit today of 15 min let you know. Still pain too much for tennis but I am up for trying especially if it rains and i can recover it a little enough to do that. long story short wait and see, hope you can get some exercise out of your day jenn and Maya!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Actually, I want one of those ruffled bikini outfits for myself, ha ha!! Sorry about your neck. ):

Yesterday (Wed) I did manage to sneak Maya out for a 20 minute fast paced walk, and then later that evening for a 20 minute jog...that dog can move....she's a mover and a shaker...

    Today's workouts to come:
    Maya walk (am)
15 minute exercise challenge (burpees and get ups)
    Maya walk (afternoon)
    1 hour interval training (pm)
I'll confirm it as I do it!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. heh yes and it was sure great talking with you for a moment there. I like your motivation to walk with that dog. Don't get me started, made me laugh what you said about the whole thing. Anyway, yah well, I am very glad that you liked it because as you know its only if you can work out enough to wear it right? I liked the color. Now, about the workout.I am going to do a 15 minute circuit in a few minutes before I decide to "not do it" then, thats all for workout. if you want to know what else is up go to the daily conversation blog and activate it emm emmm mmm so someone else one day will pleeez ha! 46. Yah Jennifer you suck! But if you suck then everyone else sucks way more ha! Good work Jennifer and it looks then like you are ahead of me because of course, I have not until this morning started my routine la la la. And, since every excuse comes with a plan in my vocabulary, I plan to workout today. Look at you, working hard at trying to workout. Do you know funny thing one of the kids came up to me the other day and said heh, Coach Lanea, do you know what all my teachers are doing at school? I said what and he said, remember that pedometer that you use to wear everyday? I said yah and he said they are all having a contest together. I told him yah? Thats great, and I bet that the contest will be next week, whose pedometer did not fall off while they were walking those steps ha! Every time I got to an exciting number it would fall of remember that? Maybe we should bring the pedometer test back to this blog now eh? ha! Then, I remember when you said politely that, Oh, I use this one and you showed me the one that doesnt fall off ha! I laughed because I did buy 2 of those and it broke once again

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ah yes...we should bring back the pedometer....then I can use the excuse, "my dog ate my pedometer!!!" Ha ha!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Okay, it's FRIDAY! Arrived at gym at 5:25 am. Barely anyone at boot camp class today due to bad storm (including the instructor), so a girl from class taught our class today! She's a ballroom dance instructor. She had us running the track in the gym, boxing, step exercises, stairs and even ballroom dancing at one point! I don't think her class was as good as boot camp but at least we changed it up and it was nice to have someone teach the class. Then, I forgot to reset my pedometer from yesterday so with yesterday and today's totals, I'm at 14,180. Hope you enjoyed your workout...ttyl :)

    ReplyDelete

  107. 5487 steps so far today. Went to boot camp class...did bear crawls on the ground up a ramp, then ran and did burpee's, then did squats going down the ramp (at the park near the gym). Then with 15 pound weight around neck, ran around a track at park. At each point of the park, we would trade off with partners and one would run, push ups, then very high jumps. Everyone's clothes were soaked! 721 calories burned! Intense but very worth it!

    ReplyDelete

  120. Today is Saturday but went to Boot Camp yesterday! Very intense workout. Incredibly sore today! Back muscles even hurt! Went to volleyball game the other night and some friends I haven't seen for a while was like "Wow, Suz, you've lost some weight huh"? I have to say, it felt nice hearing it from people that don't see ya often! I tell them about your program and my work out sessions. I think I'll do another week of L-5. I think it would only prepare me for what's next and I definitely need to repeat that level again. But, I'm doing great! Hope you have fun and I'm sorry you have to return...FOR YOUR SAKE. Now, for my sake, I can't wait for your return!! You're a great coach/mentor!

  132. It's Wednesday and it's BOOT CAMP DAY!
    BOOT CAMP AT 5:30 AM
WE left the gym and ran to the parking garage to the top level. We had 10 stations set up and was set up in pairs. Each station was intense cardio and each session was two minutes long. They ranged from squats across parking lot, jumping rope, ladder-drills with feet, throwing 12 pound ball to partner while you're shuffling side to side, high-jumps, etc. Then, the instructor got in her mini-van and each pair had to push her car (with her being in neutral) across the parking lot and back. BIG TIME LEG WORK OUT AND INTENSE! I do miss the warmer temps though...we don't sweat as much!:)

  139. Trying to get back in the spirit of things...WENT TO BOOT CAMP THIS MORNING. WE HAD 12 STATIONS SET UP WITH DIFFERENT EXERCISES WHICH WAS PRETTY INTENSE. It's getting cold here so we can't go outside for about four months, so I pray the workouts are just as great as they are outdoors. I think (not sure) that I may try SPIN CLASS. I hear it's an intense class but it's on a stand alone bike and you're biking to music, etc. Not sure if I'm up for it, but am thinking about it.
    Enjoy your day!

  146. Sure, well, I am feeling much better, yesterday it started coming on and I caught it and went after it right away. Here is my soup, pretty EZ, I just added to the crockpot 6 cups of water and chicken broth in the amount recommended. I put sauerkraut the whole jar in it and pre-boiled chicken, a half of bag of frozen broccoli and some oregano, black pepper in it. Thats about it, let it go for about 6 hours. Of course it was great, I normally do not eat high salt like that which is in the chicken broth but since I do not have any reasons to have to keep it low, I used it for this purpose. Have a great day, what is your workout today? what workout is scheduled today for you? You know I cant wait to start mine this afternoon.
