You can add 10 minutes of jump rope to that 1 hour of interval training on Friday, June 4th!! Saturday, June 5th: 1 hour interval training Sunday, (today): 1 hour interval training plus 2 hour hike (hills) Lanea, just to let you know, when I say '1 hour interval training'--what that is is high intensity combo of cardio and strength training...really really sweaty. Like when I'm done the sweat is just dripping off of me in buckets...I know...kind of gross...but just wanted to let you know about the intensity in case you were wondering. (: And I do that kind of workout on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. ON the other days, I would say the intensity is still up there, but shorter in duration and then I also throw in some nice long walks where I can. (:
Beginning on "A DAY" Get ready because there will be "No RESTday" for "STEPS" no other rules. From A day to Z there will be a ZERO POLICY POSTED for you, this means, not ONE DAY will be accepted to "not record" the end of day and steps per day count. This will determine the results.
You kicked my butt today, i had i think 22,200 and then dropped my darn pedometer and it stopped it and i put it on as it started over and got to 3500 ahhh so 5,700 I think is all that I did i hope thats right darn it! Cant wait to use it tomorrow. it fell off when i was hitting a forehand!!
I had 2,200 and then I dropped it again and then I had 15,000 and then i dropped it again and then worked one more hour and came home with a completly broken pedemoter, i will tell you right now that its my normal work day and i swear to you this, how cool is the pedometer or what????? I am buying the watch so it doesnt fall off first thing in the morning because i am so excited, even if i cant afford it right now! its too way too cool and motivating!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes! Cool piece of equipment! I had 15,000 and then had to take it off before my 'workout' tonight because it was annoying me w/ what I was wearing, so I guess you could add more to the 15,000 because it was an hour workout! Didn't know it came in 'watch' form??!!!
i am totally jealous you go to go swimming heee. No, great work there woza, you beat me in yesterdays step step step, good luck today, cant wait to step it up if you know what I mean. today is the first day I will have it on all day without it being broken!
Jennifer I am currently at 4,514 and going back to work in a couple of hours so cant wait to hear from your on your steps towards your goal. Literally hee
awsome and I am at 8880 and i just finished my workout by the way the full body workout i did on level 8 was 3323 i think steps on the machine and it was 291 calories burned it said, i really like stepping with you its actually lots of fun. lets keep it up okay so again right now i am at 8880 and excited to see where i am going to be at after work! talk to you then thanks Jenn!
Jenn, i get it now so after converting it here is what is the count so far today: Kcal =240.5 it means 240,500 calories burned so far. Thats what it says with 8,887 steps. Is that right? The converter did that number
A kilocalorie and a calorie and one and the same. So if it says you burned 240.8 kilocalories, you burned 240.8 calories. Congratulations! I am at 6,430 after my little walk over to school so now I am going out to the garage for a REAL workout! Will post after completed!!
Phew. Now I'm at 13,000. Phew. I feel like it should be double that! Here's what I did: 45 minutes on the treadmill, starting at 4.0mph for a warm up, adding speed every 5 minutes until I was at 6.5mph. Then I did 8 20 second sprints at 8mph w/ 10 seconds of break in between, then 4.0mph for 5 more minutes, then 8 more sprints like before but upped the speed to 8.5 mph. Then finished off with 5 more minutes at 4mph. After 45 minutes, I burned 640 calories. Cool! So then I did circuit of 3 exercises--low 3-way jump squats, 1 arm push ups and an ab exercise. I repeated it 3 times and it took me almost 15 minutes. I noticed that that part of it didn't really help my steps that much, but as far as calorie burn, WOW. I'm guess I burned AT LEAST 200 more calories. (:
heh heh thats funny i know but when i looked it up it gave me that number, Ross and i both thought it was that but not sure why it says it maybe becuase its an internation one? either way its so cool right? Yes interested to know what you do by the end of your day because my steps right now say 13,574
Hey there, fellow stepper! I got ALMOST to 13,000 today. It was like 12,984. I also did my 1 hour circuit training workout this a.m.....brutal. Remind me to teach you some of it, Lanea!!!
10,316 at 3:45!!! And still my workout to come--but I may have to take it off during the actual workout b/c it's kind of hard to do pushups and abs w/ it on. Heh!
Heading out for a walk right now, then my interval training hour will be tonight. (: Going to start wearing my pedometer tomorrow, because I think I have been smoking 10,000 steps!! I have increased my walking ALOT as per your advice, which may be why I am dropping....
