P.S. They say that Yo Yo Diets are Bad? Well, PART TWO

  1. making more sense now thanks- just read the time thing. I told Jackie we need to plan our day each morning and stick to the plan. That is not hard for me to do. I am good at taking directions and my motivation is super high. I feel so much better from the clean eating, while I only lost 7 lbs in 21 days (my friend lost 18-2!) It gave me a valuable insight to what and how I was eating. I love veggies now and do not miss the bread or dessert like frozen yogurt at all! Yippie! What I like about what you said is about feeling deprived, and looking forward to eating good food. Can't tell you enough how important that is to me. I hate being hungry! Who doesn't but the feeling of deprivation is horrible.
OK, so with the brewed coffee, why the mocha, and iwould it be ok to have decaf brewed coffee? Hmmm????

  2. As I am saying to you very nice person.. Gabbi, that you are not on a diet. I have introduced you to something new Ginger beer and soup. The two together do something good for your body as soup is always better then a muffin. now, lets confirm that you can eat whatever you want so long it goes with your goal. SO, your morning meal looks great. Whats for lunch and what I am waiting for is your full day menu. I made Jennfer give me a full menu of food with the counts for one week starting her first day. When your ready to do that you can start your first successful day. Thats the only difference right now is that you dont have that menu. i need that. You cannot think each day. You must get up eat and go eat and go eat and go. See? I belive you are amazing at following through taking directions and that you will have success. All i need is that list for the day with the counts. And, soon as you have the list for the week great.

  3. Lets break it all down ready?
You give me your menu plan and counts right now before you go through your day. then sometime in your day today, tonight whenever, I would want your whole week to be done but I dont need to see it. I just need once today before your day all your menu and counts for today. At the end of the day when you post your success then any changes will be shown there. Each day thats all you do. Post to me your plan early and post to me late and include yourself in any other blogs if you want or do what you want with whatever else you do. Its going to get more simple more fun and get your jeans ready. Im not kidding. Are you with me did I clarify all of this? Super excited to have you. still excited?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Yes still excited! Just have to go walk uphill with Jackie as this is the only time I can go (soccer later and Jeff has kids right now!!!!) So I promise to come back and post meal plan. OK? Also waiting to hear answer about coffee from my last post:-)

Thanks Lanea! This is going to be fun.

  5. Good for you! Also, nothing wrong with caffene and not too bad for diets. Double shot lites are fantastic but only one or two at that. The decaf is anytime thats your thing not mine. I thought you were drinking 2 or 3 with caffene and i almost fainted. if its decaf better to be green tea as its better for you but thats just me. Was this helpful. :-) Cant wait to see you soon!

  12. Hi, sorry for the wait, heh. Gabbi I love your work. I could not eat as strictly as you like that its extremely impressive and there is a problem and do you know what that is? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Jennifer, are you viewing this what Gabbi wrote? Gabbi, its super helpful as we learn from eachother.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jennifer, if she is here I want her to confirm this here we go i am back..

    ReplyDelete
  15. correct. are you patient enough to let me help you completely?

    ReplyDelete
  16. If you are and Jennifer will confirm that I have said this in the past before when she was in the same boat. Tell me exactly, did you copy and past the lists? Keep all literature you have from me. Tell me is in on your computer or in a book where you can close it and take out new sheet to simplify it? You need to say to me right now, would you like to lose weight right now or eat healthy?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Guess what? Love takes time. But, the good news is that losing weight doesnt take that much time. Its just getting it right. I am providing you with my diet that I saved to lose 20 pounds in 2 1/2 months I think. This is exactly what Jennifer used to drop and get on the routine. I told Jennifer when she was asking about if the diet was healthy and at that time, I asked her this. Jennifer, do you want to be lose weight or be healthy. Now, daa yeaa you want both. But you are genius because you just did the best you could and better then me and putting yourself a healthy diet within those numbers.Jackie also mentioned wouldnt work. So, are you in. Fold those papers save them till you want drop what you want to drop and then just add them in when you can okay? Ready to lose 10 pounds or higher? if you say yes, my DIET comes to you. You dont have to plan anymore you can use mine

lunch total is 335 cal 6 carb
snack total is 175 cal 12 carb
    dinner 280 cal 36 carb

  27. Hi Gabi, your welcome and you are very much worth it. So, I am one by one giving you exactly what I ate and had planned and its funny because it can be a hamburger from mcdonalds or from your own stove and theres no difference dropping the pounds except for later when you get to the weight you want then start adding healthier things in there. But, this works. This diet was again what took me to Puerto Rico swimsuit ready and what took Jennifer to Cancun and a million other people I will share with you later. Now, here comes more and its funny cuz its from few years back before I was heavily researching all of the health, anti aging and just look at the bottom of my site and thats just some of the books that i reference from. This diet here is specifically what I used and just here we go...

    ReplyDelete
  28. Jennifer will confirm this. Where are you Jennifer?

    ReplyDelete
  29. You will notice that some of the calories are under but not carbs! The calories are under because i did not date the order all the way on my menus to the t so you can see on some where i was already losing my appetite! its cool then some you will see that i am at the exact number but i do not go over and thats the bottom line its doesnt speed it up AT ALL to go under its just all i could eat that day you will see

    ReplyDelete
  38. by the way 2 glasses of red wine and I'm on the floor!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I was able to eat them looks like right? I mean thats why I kept it because I was more excited that I really did drop way more weight then I thought and 3 times as fast then I thought. Would you throw your notes away if that happened to you? Huh we will see. I was so shocked that it worked, that I was thrilled. I think everyone hopes but when it really happens your like what the heck! ANd, no its not the combinations I mean these were the easiest to enjoy eating but its easier to eat this when your clothes are just falling off of you. The reason that it works is that your not going above 1400 calories and 40-60carbs. Some days you go to 59 carbs and your fine. But if you go one or two days at 65 carbs good luck girl! you can eat tofu, you can eat trees doesnt matter! its all in those numbers but for several individuals its about wanting to eat those things for 3 months. You can drop 10 to 20 pounds in 3 months because i did that in almost one full month short then iloved this diet are you kidding me? Give me a break my life went the other direction GAbi! Thats why when I never gainned it back that i didnt have eating problems and i decided to get in to healthly eating then in to anti aging it just kept getting easier and more exciting. Shall i keep posting my menus are you interested?

    Low Carb Protein
No low carb food list would be complete without an extensive protein list. All meat (aside from organ meats), eggs, seafood, and poultry is low carb in its natural state. It is only through cooking and processing that these foods become carb-heavy. Assuming you do not cook it in a way that adds carbs, the following are all low in carbs:

    Eggs
    Beef
    Catfish
    Chicken, white and dark meat
    Clams
    Cornish hen
    Crabs
    Duck
    Flounder
    Goose
    Herring
    Lamb
    Lobster
    Pheasant
    Pork
    Quail
    Roast
    Salmon
    Sardines
    Shrimp
    Sole
    Squid
    Steak
    Tuna
    Turkey, white and dark meat
    Veal
    Venison
    Low Carb Dairy
Due to lactose (milk sugar) content, many people need to limit milk on a low carb diet. Cheese and some other dairy products, however, are allowed. Check the specifics of your chosen diet, but the following are generally considered to be low carb:

    Butter
    Blue cheese
    Brie cheese
    Cheddar cheese
    Colby cheese
    Cream
    Cream cheese
    Edam cheese
    Feta cheese
    Gouda cheese
    Monterey Jack cheese
    Mozzarella cheese
    Parmesan cheese
    Provolone cheese

  59. OH MY GOSH!!! I'M BACK!!!! Took the kids for a marathon bike ride w/ me jogging/running beside Megan so she wouldn't crash her bike. Ok, sorry, let me catch up. Gabby, the first week is HARD to get w/ the program and follow the carbs/calories that will work. You'll be like 115/1700, and then the next day 90/1500, and so on and so forth until you figure out how to get the carbs down. Then it will get easier, I promise! And then you'll be searching out and finding all this cool stuff that is super low in carbs..but remember, the super low in carbs foods are filling and stay w/ you much better than empty carbs! I'll post a sample day from my Cancun prep!
