"Lanea's Workout..."
"This is what I do all year around..."Well, I play all year round as much tennis as physically possible because it not only is a fun and challenging game but is also my job. I love that tennis can be a cardio sport and recreational as well. As for me, I am interested in more competetive tennis. I do not get the opportunity so often but when I do, I enjoy signing up and challenging myself in a tournament. Its great that tennis is a full body workout. It doesnt make you bulky and it does enough to keep you fit. If you play alot of tennis and you add some strength and weight trainning to your routine then your just going to get a great core. At this time, I work out to "Jackie Warner's new tape." This tape is a little challenging and I love it. This year, I do plan to step up my fitness level as I did so last year. I just started this blog to share with others my interest in keeping fit so that by helping others it forwards me right along. When we travel abroad, we defintely take advantage of hours a day swimming. Just the basic frog swim for me in the ocean, in the pool and then add the tennis for 2 hours and the gym for just a very small amount of weight trainning. At this time, I am not on a vacation break. Therefore, my daily routine includes the following as mentioned above, Tennis training hard on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm with my husband, this is a pretty progressive workout. my toughest tennis workout. Then, one hour prior, I warm up with another tennis player friend. This is almost every week. 2 times per week my Jackie Warner tape, I am currently trying to achieve my goals by adding that tape. 1 to 2 times per week I go with my husband to the gym at our complex. We do also have ability to workout at our home gym when the time is right. And, by sharing this with you one more time, this helps me to get my butt off of the computer and go and workout since my opportunity on a rainy non work day night is perfect tonight. Original

Lets talk about dinner.."Oh what a night!"
"Oh what a night!"
I took a short drive to Trader Joes this afternoon to pick up some Ginger beer (not beer) and when I was driving home there was this unbelievable storm happening in front of my eyes, I get home which is like a 5 minute drive, try to park my car, try to get out of my car, run in pooring rain and could barely get inside the house without blowing over. After my husband and I heard the television brodcast alarming us of a tornado on its way, I packed our cat in a box and prepared for the worst. Our home is surrounded by tall forest trees, windows all around us so I filled the bathroom with everything I could as this was the best place to be so they say. Just as I put the emergency items in there, they cancelled the warning. so then I say.... "Oh what a night!" So, tonights dinner will be some spring onion soup, artichoke and spinach dip & chips for a lil' snack before I have my chicken patties on top salad with slices of dill mentzel cheese and no carb ceasar dressing. Glass of my favorite red wine and gotta go as I am hungry for.....

Let's Call It Storm Week's Dinner Tonight
Tonights Dinner... I don't know about you but my entire routine is turned upside down cuz of this stormy weather out there. Tonight, I think that I will make a bake potato with smart balance spread cuz of the mono and poly fats in there, and lets see how about some starter soup from Trader Joes that sounds good. Yeah, I will go with the Tomato Basil soup. What else, hmm. Going down stairs to check what I have in stock hee... "Okay, I'm back." Thanks for waiting really. I guess I never have this much time on my hands but you know The Storm. Anyway, okay and so I just warmed up one of those double shot (lite) starbucks in a mini can mochas in the microwave for a minute and its just like perfect! I also turned my hair a little bluish grey today when I used my color creme. Hee. Having Salmon in the Flavorwave tonight. Ever see one of those? OOh big mistake not to have one hee. E A S Y. Thats right, easy. So now I have frozen salmon with seasonings ready to go from Schwans know of Schwans? Sure better! Tomato Basil soup, Salmon, Baked potato with Smart balance spread and for desert lets get out the blender and make a margarita. Ha! Just kidding, lets get out the blender and put a cup of nonfat yogart, large scoop of vanilla ice cream flavored whey protein, benefiber, splash of goats milk, some ready to go super bright & colorful berries pack from Schwanns and toss it right in, mix it right up and mmm delight. We can put some whipped cream on the top and have 2nds if we want.
Apple Cider Draft/ Extra Ginger Brew
"Apple Cider Draft, is beer.""Extra Ginger Brew is not beer Ha!" Now, ask me why thats funny?
Don't judge a book by its cover?
Why not? If I write a book, you better believe that I will think carefully about the cover. Often, I buy a book because of the cover. Matter of fact, sometimes I never get to reading the book because the cover was so exciting that it said it all. I am sure that the book was probably interesting though.

Omega-3, Vitamin D and Sunlight
Omega-3, Vitamin D and Sunlight: "Essential Fats for Humans
Fatty acids play critical roles in human health and disease. Cell membranes (all cells) are composed of a double layer of fats. Your brain is about 60% fat. The fats you eat strongly influence the ability of your cell membranes, especially brain and nerve cells, to function.
Cholesterol is an alcohol, not a fat. Natural saturated fats are found in all foods to some degree. Saturation of a fat may be natural or from processing as is done to make margarine solid. Naturally occurring saturated fats are not associated with disease unless they are imbalanced by inadequate intake of the polyunsaturate essential fatty acids, especially the omega-3 fats.
Linoleic Acid is an omega-6 that is 20 (or more) times too high in the American diet and strongly implicated in degenerative diseases.
Linolenic Acid is a short chain omega-3 found in perilla, canola and flax considered by some to be important as a source of long chain omega-3 DHA and EPA but many Americans suffer from poor conversion, an enzyme insufficiency, or impaired genetic ability to elongate the fatty acid to its active EPA and DHA forms.
Arachidonic Acid is found in meat and fish and eggs and dairy and made in our bodies from linoleic acid. It is critical for the growth of the body and brain and for healthy immune function but is needed in very small amounts.
EPA, eicosapentanoic acid and DHA, docosahexaenoic acid, are found in fish, grass-fed beef and poultry and wild game. Some may be made from linolenic acid, depending on your genetics, your liver function and other as yet unknown factors."

"How to create your own circle of happiness"
To create a circle of happiness, take out a paper and draw a big circle. Inside your circle, write down all of your friends and family that you surround yourself with now. Next take a highlighter and highlight which of those individuals make you feel happy, which ones lift your spirit and make you feel good inside. Those are going to be your positives.
Now, lets say that you have one or two negative highlights there. Well, you can easily just end the relationship there but it might not be a good idea for you or something that you want to do so if you do not want them out, you can enhance your circle of happiness by adding some positives there. Take a deep breath and open your mind to all the opportunities out there that could make your circle better. For example, is there anyone who you noticed would like to know you more maybe a nice person who notices you for the good person you are but you brush off from time to time because you are two busy keeping the others in the circle happy? Or, is there someone that maybe you might notice that you wish to get to know better as an acquaintance. This could even be joining a little yoga class or signing up for an activity. Or saying yes to just one of the many inviations you turn down. These things we say no to are often opportunities that we do not see in front of us. Some may not be good for us and some may be the best thing that ever happens for us. Keep your mind open and try to seek the positive energy from people, places or things even. You will find in time, that whether you elliminated the negative in your circle or you reduced the negative that you have left open space to add possitve people and things in your circle, creating your own "Circle of happiness." It may be possible that you find yourself in a completely different shape and that you might even look back and say wow that was the easiest circle that I ever erased. Now, if you are already happy with your circle in your life, well keep adding more positives until your overflowing with happiness and if this is the case then you know just how easy that you can spot a negative energy start approaching your circle in time for you to shh them away. I always picture my circle like a cell, not sure why guess everyones there only little bubble floating around in my circle that I invited them in. Does that make sense? I strongly believe that positives attract one another and try to stick together just the same as negatives do. Sometimes, if there are two many negatives in a circle of any kind that its hard for positives to get in or want to get in, Try it! It's alot of fun.
