I'm a perpetual teacher, Globetrotter and I have experience in many things. I am determined to do with my time the things I love to do and write. Now, you can visualize with me what things you see, and help by giving it life. Hopefully, you will find something you like since this blog is not written right. Treat this blog like you treat your life; See it, live it, share it and "Write Life" from your own eyes like I do; here on "Its going to be a good life" blog.
I wish I knew this language- I have a deaf Aunt and Uncle and they are so good at reading my lips that it makes me feel bad I never learned their language. They totally understand and are totally cool great people.
ReplyDeleteThats neat really. Well, you dont have to feel bad at all but do you know what they would absolutley love? If you learned like 3 things that you could say to them really well. Maybe like, Hello, it is great to see you. Or, with a smile, I understand what your saying. Something warm. Or yes, I like that too adding a smile and a touch on the hand. Its amazing what those things said can do in any language.
ReplyDeleteI learned some most meaningful things Ive learned from deaf people. They see things so differently as you know. I will not forget that when I was a teenager and was working in the classroom, I must of said something towards myself like, I look fat in my clothes or something like that. The girl said to me as she read my lips and signed back to me that I was perfect just the way I was and that I shouldnt change and that perfect people are uncomfortable to be around. That really touched my heart and it stuck with me forever.
