  1. Good Morning. So, got to get this straight, do we post our food log here? if so , here goes:
    FRIDAY 1/22
    yokult cal=50 carb=12
    ginger beer cal=145 carb= 37.14
    soup cal=260 carb= 52
    nuts approx. cal= 150? carb=?
    yogurt cal= 120 carb=7
    protein powder cal=110 carb 2
    benefiber cal= 15 carb 4
    flaxseed 2tbs. cal= 90 carb=4
    nuts cal= 150 carb=?
    yogurt cal=120 carb= 7
    benefiber cal=30 carb=4
    blue corn chip cal=110 carb= 22
    ratatoulli cal=80 carb=8
    2oz chicken cal=20 carb=1
    coffee cal= 70 carb=6
    nuts cal=150 carbs=?

    Total cal=1680 carb= 167
    Am I doing this correctly? 1) the combo of foods 2) the amount of food?

    Again, this is what we eat for 7 days? I am on day 3. Please let me know if I am doing this right. Did not feel hungry last night, stomach ache slight headache. Also drank more water (probably not enough still), and 4 cups green tea.

  4. Gabbi, are you aware, that those things that I gave to you are suppose to be added for the first week to your normal food that you ate before we started working together? That means that since I did not ask you what food you were currently eating which was really nothing at that time, that I meant that pretend for breakfast that you normally had eggs benedict. Well, I was saying 1st week switch to ginger beer and soup. Add those yoguarts throughout the day along with the nuts for 1st week and this is still assuming Gabbi that you are eating your normal regular lunch could be enchaladas for all that i care. The purpose of this was to slowly add some good fats into your body to trigger your hunger sensations and the yogart to kill some bad bacteria and the ginger beers health benefits are great for digestion. I did not know that your not eating your regular meals silly thats not the point are you with me? the carbs 1200-1400 or 1400-1600 are only for after this week. now, you were going for it this week which was fine but if your not eating at all which your really not then you should forget he counting and just add to your regular routine which i dont have knowledge of yes? if you want to continue to count then you must have food in there because the following weeks would not have ginger beer in there and as many nuts and yogarts. please clarify if you are on the same page with me k? Good news is that its easier to fix this since you went the rough route.

  6. Ideas for you in the meantime until you send me your plan for today. You will find this to be super easy shortly thats a promise from me. Here comes a days ideas for you and you can switch it around as you wish if your body does not respond to the likings of it okay?

    Breakfast Scrambled eggs,green tea for today, skip the benefiber in it dont put it on the eggs lets say today to calm your body down.Dont want to over due things like benefiber and glutamine okay.

    Lunch turkey & swiss wrap with a touch of honey mustard or ranch dressing. Cottage cheese & salsa mix with chips

  9. Add nuts and yogart to your body when ever you get hungry around these two meal times. Heh, if your not hungry around those times take a bite of yogart and move on no need to give it more right?

    Afternoon time protein shake in can ready to go, no thinking attatched from Trader Joes has 35 grams of protein and just take a look at the carbs sweetie. thats alwasy great with a couple of nuts and skip the yogart on that one

  11. If you already had your protein shake dont need anything else. Moderation important.
    Glutamine add to you shake once per day is fine if you have it and if you dont dont. I havent had in 3 weeks no biggy. i just forgot.

  12. Pretend you want some macaroni and cheese from the trader joes box with some ham pieces in it and two tiny teaspoons of benefiber to keep your sytstem metabolizing right? Well, before you have Macaroni and cheese yummy yummy have a bowl of soup first then maybe half of the serving of macaroni you would of had. this is just helping you to find out just what your body actually wants to eat or needs to it. Are you with me so far?

    Afternoon
    1 little can of double shot mocha lite warmed up in a glass in the microwave with a couple of nuts just 1/2 handfull for taste and touch of protein and good fats. Assuming your took your fish oil am and will at pm. Thats a golden ticket fish oil and they DO NOT have a scent if you havent tried them yet. But your body will be getting what it needs. :-)

  16. Hmm what about dinner time
    Sample:
    Dinner
    Tomato basil soup in the box from trader joes with a baked or broiled chicken breast or two if your hungry why not and mushrooms and canned gravy if you want. One day you can make your home made gravy but try to enjoy the meal easily giving yourself a break. So, chicken,mushrooms onions and gravy. not really much to add on your stats thats not a whole lot of bad stuff when going carb style. add a salad if you want with onions and those chopped veggies ready made from trader joes. with a splash of dressing maybe glass of red wine. how is this sounding? ISnt that more food then you were eating? Dont have to eat all that but you are trying VERY hard to get your body to think that its eating normally. You do not want your body to think you are on a you know what because then your weight will stay off forever and you will be healthy no changes really needed. what are your thoughts on this?

  17. Question, can I skip to week 2 since I had already done the cleanse diet which was only pure clean food? Don't want to cut corners, it just feels like my body is already prepared for this phase:-)

  18. How did you survive? Wowza are you with me? Geez, i missed the message there about what you were doing because you were both so positive and energetic. Really all you need now to turn this around and be even more excited is to just..you HAVE TO do this, just need your aprox plan for todays meals, just as i did above there give or take. Gosh girls, Jackie, and you worked out! eeks! Well, couple notes. coffee lites one or two max per day seriously and thats on additional green tea only or your headaches, will occur and you will be dehydrated. The ginger beer is a tricky thing its a miracle for stomach ache, digestion, infection, pregnacy, and in my opinion excellant appetite supressant and satisfying interesting taste no? If you can give me those requests then wow, you will be double happy and happining then yesterday! Dont buy anymore ginger beer after today, that should do it unless you were sharing but your fine once a day am only for this week. 4 to 6 days of ginger beer ought to do it. today you can start reducing your nuts to 2 handfuls a day if you want and just 2 yogarts not including yakult. how does that sound? One diet soda is fine but todays water and splash of lemon is great idea. just do maybe 2 times the exact amount of benefiber today. its funny it works one way but if you have to much it works the other way so just be careful. And, i have to say i admire your journey so far.

  19. your not cleansing with these foods and i think that read this last post as you see i just reduced to it and you can do your counts today just as next week go for it but i really need to see your lists soon as you can today okay and for best results your hardest task which will make you most successful Gabbi, Jackie is that you have for yourself 1 week in advance FOR SURE! only need to send me asap your todays ideas. not perfection. you should not work so much or somethings off. Great questions. PLEASe ask me! please anything all the time and even the same things twice. You can do it.

  23. ok- I had the yokult earlier, with 1/2 cup coffee after, now thinking about breakfast yogurt with protein powder, nuts, benefiber, and harboiled egg ok?

  24. I accidentally experienced 1 month ago while in Jamaica and I have had good results since. Now, I just googled 5 seconds ago below a lil quote from their site. Now, there is also a list of other major health benefits this has for the body and I have posted the link in another one of my posts early this morning.

    And there are many health benefits with taking ginger in your diet! I'm not really sure how healthy or effective soda and ice cream can be in your diet, but these products are definitely much healthier choice for your body :)

  27. before my cleanse? coffee 2-3 cups in a.m and toast, leftover waffles off my kids plate, not good! i was eating very poorly. lots and lots of carbs as in bread items not desserts. In the past year I literally gained 25-30 pounds because i was not caring what I put in my body. I never drink soda though! i think the combo of foods was not good, and the amount was way too high. I also skipped veggies big time!

  28. Your breakfast today is healthy and perfect.But, are you super excited eating it? Are you feeling its good for you eat it. And, are you full and are you satisfied? If yes, super! I just want you to know that you can have that one day and then if you dont want it the next day you can have what I am having right now and that is a french style flat bread with ham carmaelized onions and gruyere cheese from trader joes its basically a pizza and here are the counts: cal 150 carbs 44 thats the whole pizza. Will i have it tomorrow for breakfast no. I will probably have what you have. I switch off. When you get good its a permanent life time switch off you are no longer on a diet gabbi Jackie, please note! I am trying to explaing that in my speical ways. are you with me? and then all day after that, whatcha think I will have? Well, my choice of lean meats or cheese and or both there are like no carbs coming out of that are you with me?

    Definitly dont avoid your coffee and no way chicka no way more then 1 or 2 maximum of those double shot mochas. per day. And, sweetie, guess what you mentioned today you had a 1/2 of cup of coffee. Regular coffee? Because i would not drink that!! ask why

  31. SO, i say no regular brewed coffee and see before you were drinking 2 or 3 cups. Thats one problem of dehydration, highs and lows during the days and exessive.
    Check it off, at least a few inches off there if you make the switch to no more then 2 lite double shot mochas a day. Why the mocha?

  32. yes we see that we need to eat good food that satisfy us, and yes, we both love the yogurt w/ protein powder and flaxseeds in it.

  35. making more sense now thanks- just read the time thing. I told Jackie we need to plan our day each morning and stick to the plan. That is not hard for me to do. I am good at taking directions and my motivation is super high. I feel so much better from the clean eating, while I only lost 7 lbs in 21 days (my friend lost 18-2!) It gave me a valuable insight to what and how I was eating. I love veggies now and do not miss the bread or dessert like frozen yogurt at all! Yippie! What I like about what you said is about feeling deprived, and looking forward to eating good food. Can't tell you enough how important that is to me. I hate being hungry! Who doesn't but the feeling of deprivation is horrible.
    OK, so with the brewed coffee, why the mocha, and iwould it be ok to have decaf brewed coffee? Hmmm????
